Texas Replaced County VINELink
Texas replaced the county channel formerly associated with VINE on September 1, 2025. The current name is Texas IVSS-Counties, and existing registrations were migrated. Older instructions that send users to a national VINELink screen or require a legacy four-digit PIN may no longer match the live process. Current portal prompts control.
This change is especially important in Roberts County. Not all counties participate, and official research did not confirm Roberts in a published coverage list. Check the current county selector. If Roberts is absent, call the Roberts County Sheriff's Office at 806-868-3121 and ask whether the person is currently held, housed for Roberts elsewhere, transferred, or released. A receiving county may be the correct IVSS source.
IVSS is a notification service, not an official record. Verify any status change with the jail or agency that supplied it.
Search Roberts County IVSS
County IVSS accepts a full or partial name and may also accept DOC ID, SID, Jail ID, or permanent booking number. Use the most exact identifier available. Similar names can appear, and Roberts can be confused with Robertson County. Match the facility, identifying number, and custody status before relying on a result.

A person who is no longer in custody may cease to appear. “Location unknown” or “undisclosed” can have procedural causes and does not establish release. No result can also mean a spelling mismatch, nonparticipating county, transfer, or removal after release.

A released result, when retained, may show a release or status change. Preserve it promptly. Then request the booking and release record for the authoritative date, time, authority, and destination.
Register Roberts Release Alerts
Registration is prospective. Complete it while the matched record remains active, and keep contact information current. The county portal may offer registration with or without an account, depending on the live screen.

- Choose the registration or notification action.
- Continue with an account or the guest option offered.
- Select available text, call, or email channels and any time preferences.
- Enter and confirm the contact details requested on screen.
- Save the registration and retain its confirmation.
Do not invent a PIN when the current screen does not request one. Some phone-alert functions may still use a PIN to stop repeated calls, but the modern account flow relies on confirmation and dashboard management. Search Roberts TDCJ Notifications
A Roberts County case can lead to state imprisonment even though no TDCJ prison is located in the county. Once TDCJ takes custody, the separate TDCJ IVSS offender search applies. Search by name, SID, current TDCJ number, or previous TDCJ number. Open View Details only after matching the person.
Choose Subscribe, then register or sign in. The system may offer letter, email, text, limited phone, or a combination. Verify Roberts Release Alerts
A delivered alert is strong evidence that the feeding agency reported the event. It still needs context. “Released” can mean the end of that agency's custody, while a transfer can place the person with another county, TDCJ, USMS, or ICE. Ask for the destination and receiving agency whenever custody moved.

Start from the actual holding agency. Roberts County has a small jail operation and has historically housed people elsewhere. Roberts Status Needs Confirmation
A county alert may say released when the person was delivered to another authority. Ask whether the event ended all custody or only that jail's custody. If the destination is TDCJ, use state systems next. If it is ICE, use the immigration locator. A sentenced federal prisoner belongs in the BOP locator, while many USMS pretrial detainees have no public locator.
Location unknown or undisclosed is not release. Nor does a vanished record prove discharge. Preserve the result, note its timestamp, and contact the feeding agency. The final release record should identify the date, time, authority, and destination.
When an alert reports transfer, register in the receiving system if the live instructions permit it. Do not assume the old registration follows the person.
